We invite you to visit and make yourself at home here at Savannah United. When you do, you’ll discover for yourself that we are a family-friendly church striving to become like the Christian church described in the Bible. We desire to be a church with relevant teaching, honest friendships, heart-felt contemporary music that expresses our love for God, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere where God changes lives. More than a church, we are a church family.
We look forward to meeting you soon. In the meantime… you might be wondering...
Our Sunday service starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 11:30 am. The atmosphere is relaxed, the mixture of old faviourites and contemporary worships songs are inspiring and invigorating, and the Bible-based messages are meaningful and relevant to daily life.
What’s more, we like to eat! Light refreshements are served in the Church hall after the service.
And please don’t worry - we don’t embarrass our visitors; we just welcome them and try to make sure they’re comfortable.
At our services, you’ll see people dressed in a wide range of attire, from jeans to dress clothes. Please come as you are and dress comfortably.
We are located in Savannah, behind the Rubis Service Station & Wendys. Our street address is 17 Astral Way. A parking space will be reserved for you when you visit.
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these,” said Jesus in Matthew 19:14. We believe that children of all ages are a gift and treasure from God, and they are to be taught and raised up to know just how much they are loved.
Through our various children and youth programs, children learn how the Bible fits into their lives, how to talk to God, and what it means to be a lifelong follower of Jesus. Children are introduced to the gospel, and helped to build ongoing relationships - with Christ and others.
To learn more about our programs that are available for all children from toddlers through High School age, please visit our Children & Youth Page.
We love babies and toddlers and are happy to have you take them along to worship! Our Nursery is located towards the back of the ChurchHall. Any of our greeters would be happy to direct you and your children to the right place.
All children and youth begin worship with the adults in the Sanctuary. Please have your child sit with you in the Sanctuary at the start of service. They will be invited to leave before the sermon to meet in various small groups for age appropriate Bilbe lessons and discussions.
Kindergarten students meet in the Hall; while year 1-12 students meet in classrooms upstairs the Sanctuary.
We have a variety of programs, events and opportunities throughout the year in which our church family reaches out to our community. We operate an After-School program for primary aged students; an Adult Education program; a Food Pantry, among other initiatives. Our youth, adult fellowship groups and other ministries are active in serving as well.
In addtion we partner with others around the world to spread the good news of the gospel in health care, education, translation work, etc.
We welcome all people - whatever your faith commitments. If you have strong faith or if you are struggling to find faith or if you have no faith - you are welcome! We are happy to get to know you and serve you in any way that we can.
If you are a Christian you are already a member of the body of Christ. However we invite you to commit to becoming an active part of the Savannah United congregation by:
►Makling a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord followed by Baptism, or
►Transfering your membership from another Church, or
►Making a re-affirmation of your faith.
Please call the church office at (345) 947-6071 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us via our website if you have further questions.
After the service, enjoy the refreshments and feel free to approach our Minister [Rev. Euthman] or any friendly Savannah family members to introduce yourself. We look forward to seeing you here soon!
